Members of our Fiction Supporters Circle (previously our Founders Society) share a commitment to the power of stories. When you make a donation to The Center for Fiction, you become a part of a vibrant community of supporters that ensure a strong future for fiction. Your gift helps us provide access to books, support emerging writers, introduce children to contemporary books and authors through our KidsRead program, and nurture diverse readers of all ages through our educational and public programs. Building a Vibrant Home for Readers and Writers
As a Fiction Supporters Circle member, your support nurtures early-career writers with grants, workshops, a place to write, public readings, a literary community, and other services and awards through our Emerging Writer Fellowships and First Novel Prize; fosters creative expression for New York City public school children with author-led events, writing workshops, reading groups, creative writing contests, and their own books to keep through our KidsRead / KidsWrite Program; invigorates our award-winning 200-year-old library with new acquisitions; and brings hundreds of authors and artists to engage with audiences annually on timely cross-cultural issues through our Public Literary Events and Performances, which celebrate fiction in all its forms.
