Donations to The Center for Fiction help us build a vibrant home for a diverse community of readers and writers to develop and share their love of stories.

Your support nurtures early-career writers through our writing workshops, Emerging Writer Fellowships, and First Novel Prize; fosters a love of reading for hundreds of New York City public school children annually with through our KidsRead Program; ensures access to books and lively cultural engagement for readers of all ages; and brings hundreds of authors and artists to engage with audiences through our Public Literary Events, which celebrate fiction in all its forms.
